It was a brisk Fall day. It had rained the night before and now the clouds were moving away. The air was clear and full of that familiar Autumn scent. It was a perfect day for Megan and Robert to get married. Their wedding would be at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and they had put together a fantastic crew to take care of them today. I was once again working with Paid 2 Party, Fleuris Flower Studio, Love One Another Photography and InStyle Event Company. Everyone showed up early and it was nice to catch up and trade stories as we began our work.
Because the clouds (which we don’t often see in Southern California) were moving so quickly I decided to do a little time lapse filming. While I was doing this we also used a drone to get some great shots of the venue and the lake. There is just something magical about water, don’t you think? There was a 20% chance of rain but it stayed dry for us all day. Yes, it rained the day before and the day after but not on Megan and Robert’s actual wedding day!
The Fall colors were amazing and the breeze was just enough to let us know it was officially Autumn. The ceremony was touching and heartfelt and there were plenty of tissues being used. After the ceremony Megan & Robert had a photo session with the photographer while we covered the cocktail party and festivities. These two are a class act, they even had live music during the cocktail hour. Oh, and did I mention that Robert and his groomsmen were in tuxes while Megan’s bridesmaids were in Black evening dresses? This was a visually stunning event!
The reception was in the Grand Ballroom and there were 186 wedding guests present. As the two made their grand entrance, Robert was now wearing a White tuxedo jacket and they began their first dance as a married couple. The toasts, the hugs, the tears and the laughter made this a truly extraordinary day. Congratulations Megan and Robert and here’s a Sneak Peak Film!
